Harishchandra Kavyam: A Story in Song
Vanamala Viswanatha presents The Life of Harishchandra, her English translation of a 13th century Kannada poetic text, retelling the story through excerpts in Kannada and English, accompanied by a musical recitation. The Life of Harishchandra, the first medieval Kannada poetic text to be translated into English in its entirety, is published by the Murty Classical Library of India, Harvard University Press, in 2017.
